Aarrrggghhh d**n microsoft

Working for some clients who are under the belief that Access is a good database package…god I hate it. It corrupts easily, from other languages that aren’t Microsoft’s, such as Delphi, the primary key for tables vanish. God I hate it…

Anyway these clients. I took a copy of a database they wanted some changes to. I made the changes and went back today (2 weeks later),copied the database to their network and then I got problems. You see they use this db all the time and obviuously from when I took it at first until today some new records have been added to the database, so using the export/save tool in access I copied over the tables with the new data to the database I’d made the changes to.

Halfway home and I got a call. They run reports on the new database but the data doesn’t show up. Everything for those two weeks aren’t there…nothing in the reports or the forms. But when I open the tables, there it is.

What’s going on? Have I missed a setting or something. Avoiding Access like the plague means I’ve not used this Access save/export tool before.

little help…please :frowning:
