Hi, I just read the wonderful [color=#000066] “[/color][font=Verdana][color=black]Applying[/color][/font][font=Verdana][size=1][color=#003366][size=2][color=black] CSS to Externally Loaded Text” kirupa article and I tried to create my own original .css file on my computer to see if it would externally load into the Flash file. However it kept saying the Error message. I basically used the same <p> tags, and changed the content, and then when I changed the name of the .css file itself and changed the name of the .css file under the Actionscript line [/color][/size][/color][/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=1][color=#003366][size=2][color=#000000]var path = “http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/code/flash.css”;[/color][/size][/color][/size][/font]
TO
var path = “news.css”;
the css file didn’t load it up. Should I first load everything (text files, css, flash movie) to my server and then will it work? I can’t do it now, but I’m wondering if this will be my solution.
