Action script 2 to 1

how???

Yeah, the MX2004 actions palette is pretty handy with the dictionary and hints… It’s just that people like me don’t always remember where parentheses, brackets or semicolons go. Normal mode was a quick way to handle this. Of course, I suppose I could take the time to learn it all proper like… hmmm.

LOL, THATS EXACTLY MY PROBLEM, I DONT NOT WANNA USE MXPRO BUT **** ITS A SEXY PROGRAM LOL

sorry for caps

anyways heres another problem that im having

is there something i have to enable for my actions to play whenim testing my movie.

everytime i test my movie the only thing that works is the stop action

i wanned to control a movie clips’ timeline, with a button on the main root timeline. no matter what i did nothing worked, i set it to AS1 and still notihng. so i said to myself, i ws never good in actionscripting like some ppl but **** i wasnt tihs bad. so i went to the regular 2003 MX and created the same scenario, wrote out the code myself and it worked fine. copied and pasted the code form MX to MX2004 and it didnt work. it just stayed there??

any help is greatly appreciated

I’m not sure. I hear MX2004 is more case-sensitive, so maybe what you copied didn’t have newly-proper capitalization…
