Ok, if I have some text that I want to assign in a movie clip (mc2). I’ve set the text to dynamic and the variable to ser_01.
I need to assign the text in movie clip(mc1) which calls mc2. I can’t seem to find the way to do this. (an believe me, I’ve been lookin’)
It seems to me that all I should need to do is type in:
instancename.ser_01 = “Blah Blah Blah”
on the first frame in MC1. This doesn’t work. I’ve tried a number of creative variations with no success. I do believe that my copy of Flash MX is laughing at me.
Any help would be appreciated.
