So, I’m not very familiar with actionscript or flash, but I am willing to learn. I am a graphic designer/web developer, and im trying to get my portfolio up on the web. Attached is a jpg of a very simple mock up of what i want my site to look like (i designed it awhile back-its not hte final product but u get the deal) I want to make it so that when someone clicks on anhy of the links the blocks rotate and the cntent box expands if that makes sense… so like if someone clicks on resume it rotates to where the home box is, and then the content box expands… i hope someone understands and can point me in the right direction! anyone???
Yeah, i understand, i know you want to do what you want, and you probably want to learn just that now. But to do what your asking, you’d have to learn a bit of Actionscript to do. And unless you hire somebody i don’t think anybody would take that on for free. Theirs sevral threads about where to get information, and your on the internet so
google tweenlight or tweener
conditional statements
actionscript3 syntax
ok… when i said i wasnt familiar with flash and actionscript maybe i didnt give myself enough credit… i can animate in flash for the most part (keyframes, tweening, all that stuff), and i know the basics behind actionscript… im just not sure I know what to research to do specifically what I’m looking for… and I guess my biggest problem is figuring out exactly where (what layer/object) the actionscript is supposed to be placed on…?
Something like that doesnt sound all too hard
have a function that tweened resume to the same X and Y of home, and soon after that the content box expanded like tween the height and width?
kind of like this? i threw this together by the way
heres what it looks like
