Actionscript in CS4 Flash. Feature missing?

Hello everybody,

I have just registered to this forum.

A long time ago I programmed some with AS2 in Flash (I forget which version). I am now interested in coming back and using cs4 flash with AS3.0, but a feature that was VERY helpful when programming before seems to be missing. I am hoping that it just isn’t turned on or something.

Before when coding with the “.” syntax a list of options would appear after you pressed the “.”. For example, if typed in myMovieClip, where that is the name of a movie clip in the stage and I wanted AS to do something with it, I would type “myMovieClip.” and as soon as I hit the “.” a list of options would pop up. This was very handy since I might know that I can rotate a movie clip but forget the exact name of the command that does it or what parts of it are capitalized etc.

Has this been taken out of CS4, or is there a way for me to use it? This is a huge downgrade to ease of use if it is no longer available.

I hope somebody can help,
