AddEventListener to bitmapData.draw

When I call* bitmapData.draw *it takes forever for it to process sometimes, so what I want to do is to “split” up the drawing so I can render the stage after an amount of time has passed and then continue with the drawing.

I got absolutely no clue what to even search for, so any tip is welcome :facepalm:
