Today Adobe unveiled the first release version of their AIR runtime technology.

I expect we’ll see a lot of cool applications release in the next month or so. It should be interesting to see what the first batch of 1.0 apps will consist of.
The 1.0 release is significant in that it will signify it’s readiness for business application development. I expect a lot of businesses to begin their AIR application development now that the ‘beta’ has been dropped.
