Adobe Audition - Going to tear my hair out >.<!

For lack of a better place to put this it’s going in the Random section :stuck_out_tongue:

Right here’s my very frustrating problem:

I’ve got one audio clip approx 10 hrs

trying to splice that with another one approx 8 hours.

Originally I had 4 parts. 5hrs, 5hrs, 4hrs, and 4hrs.

But then I spliced them into the 10hrs and the 8hrs.

When I try and splice 10hrs and 8hrs adobe always says please restart audition to start where you left off, and makes me shut it down. It keeps doing that as long as you keep trying to paste it…even though I still have around 8 gigs of temp left at this point more then enough.

When I try splicing only 10 and 4 it gives me a paste incomplete error and reduces the whole file to like 1 hr!?! It makes no sense! All this time I have loads of temp space left. Why on earth would it make an incomplete paste otherwise! I’m at wits end with what to do here, this is driving me nuts ! Is there any way to simply splice the files together? Even if I can just get them into one file I could re-edit it from there I suppose…It clearly seems to have some big issues with pasting…And I’ve seen adobe take files up to 20 hrs before so I really don’t know what the problem is here.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Fargate
