I’m trying to figure out how to make a button in Flash MX 2004 that fades to a different color when the mouse rolls over and fades back to the original color when the mouse rolls off. Basically I’m trying to make a highlight for the button text that glows in and out on rollover.
Anyway, I tried to do the animation with a movie clip and TellTarget, as shown in this tutorial: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/advroll.htm . I can get the tutorial animation to work just fine, but when I try to make my own animated button, nothing seems to work.
Anyone have an Idea on how I can easily acomplish such a rollover?
