I was just surfing the web and I ran across this image on Phong.com. I was searching for a tutorial for how to do the “peel-away” effect with metal, but I couldn’t find one. Does anyone know of a good tutorial that will show how to do that? I know how to do the rust, but I wanted it to look like the metal is torn away from the screen. I understand that the image that I have attached is really small, but I had to abide by the posting size limit. If you can help me, please e-mail me and I will attach a larger, more detailed version of the image. Thanks a lot for your help.
