Greets, I have a question concerning buttons. I’ve taken the tutorials on how the create advanced rollovers, but I would like to learn how to make the buttons work like on the Lord of the Rings website. Does anyone know how to do this? Help would be appreciated.
Im actually not impressed with the LOTR movie site. They could have done a lot better especially with the money they’re making, I wonder who designed it anyway. ah well
you know, there are a lot of buttons on that site, I think you need to be a little more specific
Right, well, there may be a lot of buttons, but I’m talking about the most obvious; the horizontal menu in the center of the screen.
i know what you mean. i have made one for my website that i am working on. are you talking about the menus that pop out when you rollover the button?
if so:
you have to make a movie clip, that is the tween of the slide out animation. then with the button, which is a movie clip button, you apply a rollover, so that when you roll over the button, the menu MC that you made triggers, and its animation happens.
