Hey all, sorry this is going to be slightly long post but i want to try to explain in detail so it might be easier for people to help me out.
I’ve been using AE CS3 for a short while now and after doing some motion tracking with text in one composition i had a similar task to do in a new project. So i went ahead to copy the text (copy and paste) to the new comp because i wanted to retain the colouring/style.
I reset all the transformations and switched off all the stopwatches to delete the positioning keyframes.
All is good everything ready to go to start tracking again but i just noticed some ‘new’ but strange markings on my timeline. All 5 top layers are text layers. the last layer being video (to be tracked) but my concern is the marking on the bottom of layer 1,2 and 4… it looks like it’s indicating what use to be there in terms of positioning keyframes and length of use.
I can’t find any info on what these are and what purpose do they serve? at the moment i have no keyframes on the layers and nothing adjusted other than the styling of the text in the layer and it dosent seem to interupt my current operations, i just don’t know why they are there?? :h:
