I can’t believe nobodoy knows this, so i’m posting this question again:
How do you use the object tag? I’ve been to the W3C schools page and other similar pages, but all they do is give an example, but as long as my usage isn’t exactly the same, it is no use.
The biggest problem is the classid: there are different classid’s for .avi, .wmv, .mov and so on, right? If so, where can i find a list of correct values for classid? (and why do they have to be so incredibly complicated?)
codebase and codetype are also a little hazy in my book. What are they, and are they significant?
How do you actually use the param tag? what properties can i use with name? Again, a list somewhere would be helpful.
