Thanks,

A thing that you could do, is purchase the book at a book store near you (barnes & Nobles is a good one), and if it doesnt have what you need, you can return it.

this one is really good ive been looking into it for a while now has alot of helpful stuff on acripting…its not just for games

and this one
Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Game Programming
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1592000363/qid=1094742512/sr=ka-1/ref=pd_ka_1/002-6778481-6724823
this one starts you off learning to make a Defender game where your a space ship that fights off rows of alien ships…has alot of helpful info on building games

in retrospect the books are both verry helpful but i found my self in the actionscripting book the most.

Nice one zero i may check these books out in the near future look really good

OK, thanks for suggestions - I just fancied something very heavy on AI … although of course, we do have Marz’s excellent resources here!

I’ve got Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Game Programming and would also recommend it to anyone who hasn’t.

I’m also a big fan of this book - pretty detailed, but I’m always going back to it:
