It is not possible to have anything at 0 transparency in 16 bit colour mode using an Alpha Effect.
I have tried a flash symbol, text, object in fact everything.
And you can never get the object to be 100% transparent on a coloured background. There is no work around, nothing can be done to correct this. I give up!
There must be a solution to work around this problem i am having. You see normally this would not be a big deal but because the whole school are using 16-bits, its a massive deal as the design looks bad, even if i dont use transparency, i still have this weird change in colour even though they are identical in hex value.
First: being an arse to one of our smartest members here is definitely not a good way to get help man.
Second: Flash is… well let’s say… retarded when it comes to 16bit color monitors. hex values never equal the same, and transparent areas are visible. Whether this be a bug in Flash or just the way Flash works, I don’t think there is a solution to it.
First off, text is text, If i am being an arse its not me! its my hands typing away. If I wanted to be an arse I would not be doing it via a friendly forum, now would I. So for that Kode I am sorry.
Well if he is the smartest, then thats final, it cannot be done. Thats all I wanted to hear.
Calm down Trevor… i think you using “smart arse” or similar expressions may cause you some trouble. My guess is you were only kidding, but that can be misunderstood by anyone who is reading the post.
Do you know whats weird about the design I did! - try viewing it at 16-bit and look at the logo. When the motion text appears part of the logo becomes great. Maybe there is a solution hidden somewhere there?
