Am I going about my site the right way? please help!

:-\ Hi all,
I am in the process of building my first flash site. and i was thinking about it…i think im going about it all wrong.

they way i have it set up now, is when you click on my photo’s button, i have the actionscipt to go and load my “photo.swf” file on top of my news…but, the reason i think im setting it up wrong is b/c…how do i get my updates page to load back up? b/c its not a seperate .swf, i just have it on frame one to load when the whole scene loads…
i read somthing about “scenes” am i supposed to be doing something with them?
lol, sorry so long and drawn out…but, any help would be appreciated! thank you to all.

but i can tell you, that altho the ‘2-in-the-morning-garrett’ thinks these spellings r rite, they’re not:

always not allways

it’s not its

they’re not there

you know, i wanna b a school teacher, guess datz y dey call me pedantic-sykes…

actually,…i think i just figured it out…

should i make my “updates” a seprate .swf file, then ad:

_root.contents.loadMovie(“updates.swf”)?

then im thinkin it will load automatically…then i can just have my updates button w/ actions:

on (press)
_root.contents.loadMovie(“updates.swf”)

hmm…i think this will work…i cant try it yet…but…will this work?:stuck_out_tongue:
