I was following this excellent tutorial: http://maclab.guhsd.net/flash8/new_slides/slides.html
I got to the end of #16 and everything was going swimmingly. To the end of #16 I was able to complete the tasks and test my movie so that it looked/acted the way it was supposed to (I compared it to the swf’s linked to from the tutorial).
Then, I completed #17 - #20 and my final swf was wrong. My buttons swooshed in from the right side of the screen and stopped like they were supposed to, but then I couldn’t click on the buttons and view the photos like I was supposed to - they aren’t clickable anymore. I’ve redone #17-20 and I still can’t get it right.
I was wondering if some kind flash expert would be willing to take a look at the tutorial and final movie and be able to tell me what I could be doing wrong… I could even send you the .fla I created. It seems like a fairly simple animated slideshow…
