Animating Box Help!

Hello guys! I dont know if i can explain this better, bt i’ll try anyway.

I wanted this to become a preloader to all the external movie clip that I wanted to load to the main movie of the site I am creating. After it finished loaded, i want the box to animate and this is when the external movie clips appear. But i dont know how to do this as I am a Flash Newbie, all i got is the idea. So im here kneeling on front of you guys asking for your help.

Let me see if I understand you correctly…

Either you want this to animate as soon as your entire movie (inclusive of all its objects) loads.

or

You want this to be your preloader wherein it will animate until the entire movie is laoded.

well i dont understand what your trying to do with this but i fixed your animation effect so its smooth what i suggest is to put this preloader on every external movie you plan to load because im not great with AS but it is possible with AS

i assembled a simple little loading sequence…hope it helps you learn something…

oh yeah, i used the animation from the guy above too…i tweaked it a bit to make it smoother again.

oh yeah, i named the content movie, contentMovie.swf

Hmmm… I dont know how can i explain it… Hmm le me see i’ll find an example then i’ll link you to it.

thanks to those who reply and modified the files i have created, but unfortunately i haven’t check them yet as I am at my partime work and theres no Flash in here. So i’ll check them later once i got home.

Thanks guys! that sort of animation is the one I want, Now for instance, you click the home button on the site, i want that to preload, then when it finished loaded, the box animation will play once, then displays the home content inside it. I also want thesame when you click on the other buttons on navigation menu. Is it quite clear now? I hope it is.

i think i get what you mean for the animation, but how big would you want it to go to? fullscreen?
what i “think” you mean is the preloader preloads (duh) then the animated shape expands with the content in it…then plays?

let me know if im close

Pwede bang makahingi ng source ng footer mo… Gusto ko lang pag-aralan kung pano mo ginawa yung dissolving boxes.
