I want a real simple shadow (black) of a man and / or woman crawling. whats the best software to create this in?
it depends on what you plan to use it on web or TV id suggest using a vector image for the shadow since it just is one color and you can scale it without quality loss, so you can use anything that works with vectors like flash
well I want to eventually bring it into flash but was wanting something that would guide the movement of the body crawling I thought there may be something like poser that would help
well if you’re actually trying to get a real image of it, why not just get a recorder and record some footage of the person crawling?
i guess you could animate it in some software, but it sounds harder to me
flix or AE (after effects)
In Poser Pro that would be pretty simple to accomplish. Poser allows you to export as a .swf as well…

you could take a video, change the image to a vector shape (flash feature), change all the colors to black and your set.
