I used to have a Gundam Wing rpg, and was a moderator at a Zoids rpg. They were very, very successful rpg’s that were made in MSN Groups a pretty long while ago. In those rpg’s, people were able to buy and sell a huge variety of weapons, armor, items, etc. In the zoids rpg, there were a few hundred members, that were actually pretty active in the rpg. You were able to customize your zoids completely, have teams or guilds and fight team on team. We had judges that actually watched each scheduled battle and judged each move and attack that was made. The fights in a chat room, so each player had to be really creative and write up some really moves and combinations, and the judges would write up the results of the player’s turns and made things really interesting by aloting the damage dealt. It was a cool little system, with shops and shop managers, and just about anything you could think of in a complete text based rpg.
Where I’m getting at is, would anyone want to make another anime rpg? We could probably even use a multiplayer flash engine for it, or anything.
What do you guy’s/gal’s think?
