That’s the only way. You wouldn’t believe how many rubbish attempts there are for each piece of decent art you draw. The ratio is horrendous. Certainly mine is.
For every drawing that’s on deviantART, you can bet your bottom dollar that there’s 20 more that didn’t make it.
I wish I had sketching skills. I just can’t put a pencil to paper. I can’t draw smooth lines. It really sucks:-\
its the anime faces that always skrew me up…
i draw alot of dbz but ive done some akira sketches ill do my colour ones next…im a big akira fan! amazing movie loved it!

You probably do have great sketching skills… just don’t worry about having “smooth” lines.

LMAO THAT is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRU!!! i have Millions of rejects…i just get recycled paper from the recycling bin and i start drawing…usually in class =) one day i’m going to scan the rejects 
sometimes i just go nuts from frustration and simply start scribbling like a maniac all over the page and people stare at me 
well here it is my trigun picture work around 2 hrs on it lol
