Hi - I had a look at the other thread, but being such a Flash n00bie, I don’t really get it. I think the problem I have is a bit different, so I’m hoping someone can help me.
I have a button. The Up and Down states use a graphic, the Hit state is just a shape, and the Over state uses a movie clip. The Over movie clip looks identical to the Up and Down graphic. It’s a single-frame movie clip that doesn’t do anything. I would like to attach some actionscript to the instance of the mc used in the button.
Everything’s there and it looks like it should be working, but when I mouseover the button, the animation actionscript doesn’t work. 
Any thoughts?
