Hello all –
After much searching I still can’t find a solution to a very annoying problem.
I have built a horizontal infinite scrolling menu (A) – the items in the menu are individual movie clips (B), which when rolled over produce drop-down menus of their own ©.
I have this part working fine.
The problem is – I can’t get the mouse to recognize the items in the drop-down menu. I’ve tried using invisible buttons and movieclips – but putting them inside movieclip(B) doesn’t work.
I’ve tried putting them on top of movieclip(B) and that works to some degree. I can roll over them – but when I do, flash doesn’t recognize that I’m still on top of the drop-down menu and the drop-down closes up.
Does this explanation make any sense to anyone?
If anyone does know what I’m talking about, and can point me in the right direction, I will be eternally grateful.
