Another scrolling question - please help

Hi all,

First, being new to Kirupa, I have to thank you all for an excellent site! Secondly and without further hesitation, I will ask my first newbie question. I am using a dynamic text box (as described in http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/dynamic_scroller.htm), loading an external text file. The actual loading thing works – the text shows up. My problem is that whenever the text is longer then the actual size of the textbox, the scroll will not work. I have set it to multiline and done exactly as the tutorial prescribes, but the text is just cut of whenever longer then the textbox. My second question regards the ugly line spaces generated by pressing “enter” (for changing lines) in the text file. I would like a line space more similar to the one presented in html when including a <br>. Is there a way of doing this? One thought is to capture the ch10 and ch13 that is generated when pressing enter I guess, I just do not know how to do this.

My apologies if this question already has been answered. I have tried to find an answer in the existing threads in the forum (there seem to be a lot about scrolling) however not finding any answer to my questions.
