So at work here we’ve got a network drive with all of our images for products. The images are .tiff format but the guys who produce the images for whatever reason leave the .tiff extention off the end of the file names. On a Mac there is no problem at all. Us windows users though, can’t view the image thumbnails and arent allowed to change the filenames on the server. So, we have to copy the files to a local machine and add the .tiff to view or even open them in photoshop(which we have to do to even know what the file is), which i’m sure you can imaging is a pain in the ***.
So the question is: Does anybody know of a workaround for this? View .tiff thumbnails if the file doesn’t have an extention? Bridge does’t solve this problem either…
Any help would be awesome
