Ok, try this: go to www.apple.com
All the way at the bottom, select “India” in the country selector.
You get http://www.apple.co.in/
Click iPod+iTunes
Now why the hell does that redirect to Switch from Android to iPhone - Apple ?
More people are interested in switching from PCs to Macs than ever before. See why they made the change and how easy it was… blabla…
I was looking for iPod prices, stupid Apple!!
I have checked **all online stores ** for iPod 60 prices (again), and France is still by far the most expensive, 30% more than US, can you believe that?
So when I got to that page, I was really fed up with their lack of respect (yes, that’s what is is) and posted this as my “switch story”:
In fact, I do not own a Mac.
And I would never buy one due some research I just did on Applestore!
I have compared prices for an iPod 60 an most online Apple stores, and have found huge price differences.
Mexican store, you can’t even order from Apple.
India store: when I clicked on iPod, I was redirected to the “switch to a Mac” page here on Apple US!? Any explanation for that?
Now, prices:
US: $399
Japan: $414
Switzerland: $467
Germany and Spain: $518
Belgium: $541
Italy: $554
France: $566
I live in France, so now you know why I’ll never buy anything Apple.
Also, on the french website, you say that for the 20Gb iPod, sales price includes 17.94€ for private copy; makes then 0.0036 per song (at 5000 songs). But the iPod 60Gb is 23.92€, at 15000 songs that’s just 0.0016 per song!?
I guess no-one from Apple will ever bother to explain any of this, because most certainly you can’t, I do not care anyway, as I am going to blog this as much as I can
