The symbol would be used on its own without type, generally. (so the typeface is not that much of an issue) I was just experimenting with my old logo when I made this, hence why it is tiny. If people like it then I will make a bigger, vector version. I personally think its not bad for a second try at logo design :slight_smile: My old logo can be seen in my footer. All crits, good or bad, are of course welcome :crazy:

For a logo for your name I would go with something a little more urban and satirical. I am not really feeling the one in your sig or the new one. If you are doing design or multimedia your logo has to set itself apart from the over-saturated market. That being said, your logo sounds funny in itself, so play off that as well as the market and you have a good thing to go from.

any examples of what I could do? Im out of ideas. Especialy at creating a sarcastic logo. How am I surposed to do that?

sarcastic :lol:… satirical man as in satire comedy…something hip, energetic and fun. And there is no stopping you from being a home studio at the age of 13.

I think the typeset of what you did for ‘applejelly’ looks fine, but the logo art itself doesn’t seem to fit the name nor does it really represent anything…

(meaning - i don’t think i would remember that logo nor remember that it was for ‘applejelly’)

Do a lot of sketches with pencil/pen and paper and then do some variations with the pc and re-post those ideas so we can try and help ya come to some decisions! Keep at it! :thumb:

yea that devil ducky thing is a good idea of what i mean by satire. Take your name and the common image and making something funny yet branding from it. I will now forever remember devil-ducky…thanks sim :ub:

I think you need to make an apple made out of jello, then you can animate it to wiggle on your page.

You know those bowls of jelly that neighbors always take to new people in the neighborhood? The kind that stands by itself and wobbles freakily… I would make a neat vector version of that, in an apple green. :slight_smile:

anyway, I’ll look into all the surgestions (which all boil down to one thing).

By the way, it was meant to be a jelly mould :stuck_out_tongue: maybe their more common in that shape in england?

EDIT: I just remembered, in america, jelly is jam and jello is jelly. oops.
