Artistic Challenge
The artistic challenge will be open to all 2D and 3D artists using whatever media they choose to create their final image. The theme for this contest will be, “Atlantis”. Artists are expected to incorporate this theme into their submission and the interpretation of this theme is completely to the discretion of the artist (keep in mind these images are being judged however). This contest begins June 06, 2001 and the deadline for entry is 12:00am EST, July 1st, 2001. The winner(s) for this contest shall be announced on July 6th, 2001.

The web designers challenge is open to all web designers. Web designers may use any HTML editor but the over-all HTML, script, image, style, and any other associated files must collectively total less than 5 kilobytes in size and be entirely self-contained (employing no server-side processing). The theme for this contest is, “Orange”. Web designers are expected to incorporate this theme into their submission and the interpretation of this theme is completely to the discretion of the artist (keep in mind these sites being judged however). This contest begins June 06, 2001 and the deadline for entry is 12:00am EST, July 1st, 2001. The winner(s) for this contest shall be announced on July 6th, 2001.

All artwork must be original and owned by you the submitter.Any images displaying copyrighted material such as copyrighted photographs, company logos, etc. without the owners permission will be deleted. You are allowed to use freely available and commercial textures, meshes, etc. in your image so long as this does not go against the EULA of the product involved.
There is a limit of three (3) entries per artist. All copyrights remain with the artist but the ** artist grants ALTERED.IMAGE the permission to alter and use the entries on its website for promotional purposes indefinitely**.
All entries for the contest are to be submitted in URL form this means you must find your own web space to upload your image. Once uploaded, send an email to [email][email protected][/email] with the url address to the image, artists name, and image title. Please specify which contest you are submitting to as well. Artistic nudity is acceptable but ****ography is not acceptable.
Altered.Image retains the right to declare what is acceptable or unacceptable (it’s our contest folks). No further entries will be allowed after 12:00 Midnight EST. Contest entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules.
The laws of the United States govern this Competition. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By entering, participants release and hold harmless sponsors and their employees from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Competition or acceptance or use of any prize won.
