AS Battle: Photo manipulation

I was checking out Andy Foulds’ site: http://www.andyfoulds.co.uk/main.html and the amusement called Leaders of the free world is really excellent. I was thinking it would be cool to see what AS effects can be created to manipulate a picture. Anyone interested? =)

check out his bio. I like his picture…how it cycles his image over the years. Smart.

I’ll have to pass, I’ve got exams coming up :frowning:

Id say yes, but everytime I do I end up not being able to do it :jail:

yall do not know me very well, and i’m not sure if my AS skills are worthy, but i have played with some AS code for images. i am down all the way, sounds like a rad battle.

That’s the spirit, boy!

Sen & Voets > It should’t take you that long. You’re not exactly newbies :stuck_out_tongue:

I would be interested in learning how to do this?

I have time to do it today, so if some rules get set up, I should be able to whip something together. I can’t be sure about next week or any other time though

Im on my exams week but i might join

Any rules ?
:bad:

Oooh. Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with. :thumb:

Great!

The rules are the usual: you can import an image, any image, put it in your library with the linkage name ‘image’, and produce a piece of code (masking, duplicating, resizing, whatever) that anyone can copy/paste with their own picture.

I don’t think we need a line limit, as we’re already limited by Flash poor performances in this field.

Also, try to be done by the end of next week  (let’s say June, 6th)

i am soooooooooo looking forward to this one guys

wheew whoo, i am excited…

Can we make sliders and stuff to adjust parameters ?

lol im in im jsut gonna try but i don;t know where to start

Ya, I would like to do this, but I have no idea how.

  • OK, now I’m supposed to say, "Hmm, that’s interesting, but… " then you say…
  • …“but what?”
  • But… you already know what I’m going to tell you.
  • I can’t use sliders.
  • Sorry, kid. Your next life, maybe. Who knows? That’s the way these things go.
    I couldn’t resist, sorry :beam:

Oh well, at least I could try
