I’ve got a swf that was designed at 800x600 for a presentation and now we want to put it on our website, resized via ActionScript to 520x390. The vector art scales just fine, but we have two short FLV animations that play when buttons are clicked.
The animations were sized at 800x600 for the original presentation purpose, but now that the whole thing is scaling down, the animations don’t scale smoothly, they’re a bit jaggy and pixelated.
I’ve used “Allow smoothing” for jpegs, and I wonder if there’s a similar method for improving the appearance of the FLV’s? I tried re-rendering them at 520x390 and then scaling them up with AS but as I suspected that didn’t work.
any suggestions will be appreciated!
