Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at using action script 3…and I’m just about ready to go back to as2 after all of this.
After pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to make the new “getURL” tags worked, I thought I finally did.
here’s a test of what I’m working on

so far the only button I’ve made link is the “Branding” button.
when I click the link, it is supposed to go to a completed page that is styled with css files. But when I navigate to that page with flash, my browser all of a sudden doesn’t recognize the css files!?
I thought it must have been a problem by testing locally, so i uploaded the page to make sure.
As you can see through my main site, the pages do work

Please use the tabs on the top as opposed to the flash, as no flash links work on the main page.
This is definately one of the more bizarre problems I’ve had with flash… does anyone know what I should do?
I’m considering just eliminating the flash component all together since it is not really a big part of my site anyway

ok, it was a stupid mistake on my part…in the navigation area I have a “/” at the end of my url…since my css pages arent linked to pages ending with that, the pages came up as plain html.
simple enough…I should have looked for the easiest answers before blaming as 3
