Hello all, was just interested in your opinions on notebook choices.
I have finally decided on moving into the world of mobile technology by buying a laptop. I am looking for a desktop replacement and the reason for getting a laptop is so that i can take it to uni. There were so many times last year when i was in the studio and just wanted to draw somthing up on CAD (the uni labs are pretty average) in the studio but couldnt really and had to go home, then bring it back the next day. etc etc.
Anyway. What i am looking for is a 17" screen desktop replacement, ie power! The major types of applications ill be running would be photoshop illustrator, archicad, vectorworks, 3dsmax etc etc. hardly any gaming really, but maybe a game of battlefield 1942 every once in a while would be fun.
So yeah ive been looking around, and at the computer store that i usually buy most of my stuff from have an ASUS W2PC ([URL=“http://www.computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=7566”]here’s the site at the store) which looks like it meets and possibly exceeds my requirements.
So yeah, was just looking for your input into what you thought about this laptop, if anyone has one or knows of anyone who has one. Or if you had recommendations for a similar quality laptop.
Thanks
