A *Cambridge Chronicle *article, published May 7, stated that a parent of an MIT student complained about “cockroaches in the sushi and Japanese bugs in other foods and the bubble tea,” as well as roaches in the basement kitchen. According to Berlin [Directory of Campus Dining], these complaints are “inaccurate” and “exaggerated.” Berlin said that Shinkansen does not have a kitchen in the basement.
I’m not a big fan of bugs - real or virtual, but it looks like bubble tea, my third breakfast everyday for the past year, could have contained Japanese bugs. I’ve tried all of the other bubble tea establishments in the area, and this bug-ridden place still makes the best tasting bubble tea. I guess the bugs add a certain zest.
I am not sure if Krilnon ate more than the bubble tea when he visited, for I do remember showing him that restaurant
Cheers!
