still working on my first flash project…it is a series of scenes with different video clips. here is the anomoly:
when i import a video clip into flash (specifically into a movie clip), it turns “s” sounds into “shh” sounds, and the result is that the speakers sound as if they have lisps.
there are several different individuals, and their videos when played in premiere pro – as well as media player – sound perfect.
sadly, after i import them into flash the sound quality degrades. (i even tried different audio settings: 48 and 44.)
i’ve also experimented with different import --> key frame settings; but with no success.
i’m about to import the video and sound seperately; but fear that this might bring about synch problems.
i’ve downloaded a trial version of sorenson’s squeeze and i must confess that the result is better than flash’s import. but using sorenson would mean that i would have to link the videos; instead of importing them into movie clips.
any suggestions???
btw: i’ve read about mx 2004 pro’s ability to work wth video and audio; but it sounds as if this applies to streaming projects, and it would not help me. (this project will be distributed on a cd, becasue there are so many video clips.)
