Hi

We are attempting to import some short video pieces into Flash. The clips were created using Adobe Premiere Pro (with a Matrox RTX100 card) and the movies are .avi files. We created separate audio/video “movies” thinking that the sound would be better this way. The video came across into Flash well, but the sound was quite distorted, with very sibilant s sounds. We then took the audio into Adobe Audition and saved the files as uncompressed mp3 files. We took the much better sounding mp3 files straight into Flash but the video/audio synchronisation was out.

We then took the mp3 audio and video back into Premiere to synchronise. We exported this as a movie (audio and video) back into Flash and the sound was again very sibilant. We are going round in circles!

We have also tryed importing flash video format .flv with the audio embedded. Still getting poor sound!
We would appreciate some advice.
