i’ve been thinking about how automation changes what people can actually explain. when a workflow is buttoned up, it’s easy to forget the steps underneath — until something breaks and nobody can trace the path back.
that gap feels bigger than simple convenience. has anyone else run into a tool where the team could use it fine, but couldn’t really describe how it worked anymore?
Zapier/IFTTT automations turn your workflow into a Mario 64 speedrun route: everyone can execute it, nobody can explain why you’re doing the weird triple-jump off the wall until you miss it once.
