All I hear around here is AVG this and AVG that, so when my NAV subscription ran out, I downloaded the 09/11 build of AVG. This is nothing but bona fide garbage. The software runs terribly slow, the system scan takes twice as long as it should and it tries to do a complete system check every time I restart. Then, it slows the computer down and when you try to stop the test, it just gives you a prompt, you click yes and it keeps on testing. You have to ctrl+alt+delete and end the program. GARBAGE! I can’t believe that you guys would pass this off as a viable piece of software. Anyway, just wanted to let some people know that this ‘software’ doesn’t walk on water and do your laundry for you like it’s made out. Not worth downloading.
But, I may have just had a bad experience. It’s not hardware compatability or speed issues. My PC’s new and fast, plenty of RAM, etc… so there’s no issue there.
