I need to know how to make it look like my background is like an old movie. Like you see somes sites with lines going down it periodically. It looks kewl. i was wondering how to do it.

It’s pretty easier…
You create the bg as a movie clip…
Change the bg colour so it’s like an darkish brown colour to give that old look…
Then…
This is the part that just takes some time…
Select your pencil tool and select a LIGHTER brown colour. Once you have done that, on EACH frame draw lines, dots, that are all over the place… whatever you want. Do this on ever frame. Make it go for about 15-20 frames and this will give the effect of a old movie that has scratches and stuff all over it while it’s running.

good discription… I’ve never tried it myself, but agree, it’s a cool looking effect. I hadn’t realized that it was so easy.
I suppose you could do a similar thing with a/s having a variety of movie clips of various shapes, brought onto the screen randomly.
I’m going to have to try both methods now…
