Everytime I make a background it always come out short it suppose to cover the whole screen, what can I do to get rid of this?
When you test your movie, it shows the movie at the width and height it is supposed to be at.
Everything else they show is just extra space that won’t be seen when you publish your file.
If you right click on your movie and choose “Show All” instead of “100%”, it will scale your movie to be bigger than it actually is, and then it will fit the screen.
I prefer 100%, because it gives you the real size of your movie, which allows you to make everything fit better.
i knew that it showed more than it should, but didnt know about changing it. there is another thing you can do to see the load times for diff modems. i will find it then post it.
when in the movie viewer, do View|Bandwith Profiler. that comes in handy, tells you really if you need a preload or not.

i acctually learned that from an as book that i think i lost too. lol first it was the PHP book now the AS book. they are huge book too!
haha i found the AS book:P there are a lot of cool things in the player, just fool around.
i found out what show streaming does. i am going to just make a new thread with all the features.
