I’m a novice Flash user. My question is when I’m designing on Flash, everything looks good. But as soon as I test the movie, my gif graphics look like they’re melting. Please help. Thanks.

Hey Mike,
That is a common problem. Go to your Library by pressing Ctrl + L or go to Window | Library. Right click on your GIF image listing and select Properties. From the dialog box that appears, uncheck the box for “Use default quality” (something like that) and enter a value in the box that appears toward the bottom. The higher the value, the higher the quality of the graphic and the larger the file size.

It also sometimes helps to uncheck the box that says “Allow Smoothing”.
