made a gif file using a fla I already had put together, BUT it does NOT have the clarity of the fla or even the swf…
How can I make the gif real Clear???
BTW: I am using MX2004 Pro-:alien2:

can you post the gif or explain what you mean in more detail?
the only thing I can suggest now (or think of rather) is make sure you have “Smooth” checked in the gif export options. Also note that the gif file type is restricted to no more than 256 colors, so you may be losing quality there if you have a lot of gradients or colors going on.
I have not sent the gif up to a site, so I will see if I can give better details…
When I published it in gif format, the images appear a-bit fuzzy, now in the swf they are not fuzzy but very distinct , not so in the gif
I will try your suggestion , I may have missed the smoothing option
if its fuzzy “smoothing” wont help Smoothing it keeps it from being jagged and straight. Maybe thats what you want so try it without the smoothing (smoothing should be checked by default if Im not mistaken)
Not sure, but try increasing the quality during export.
