This goes for all designers and people who do client work. I recently was working on a layout and site with a co-worker of mine. Well we did the site (comps) and the client kept wanting changes. SO my friend got pissed and started naming the files that we were bouncing back and forth (between ourselves during production) stupid_a**_client_change1.psd and so on. I bet you can see where this is going. Well I didnt pay it no mind and thought it was funny that he was getting so pissed. And I thought…hhhmmmmm…maybe I should tell him to change the export name prior to sending. Then I thought, nah, this is his contract he couldnt be that dumb. Well to skip to the end he was that stupid. He sent the client exported .pdf’s “stupid_a**_client_changes.pdf”. He came in this morning and told me. I ■■■■ near fell out my seat laughing. Client dropped him like a hot potatoe. And I was contracting in so he still has to pay me…lol. Moral of the story: Be sure to change your file names before export…lol
