So I’m starting to get into gaming a little more now, at least on the PC side. One of my favorite games growing up was a biplane face off thingie-ma-jig for Intellivision. And in high school, terminal velocity was 2nd only to doom when playing on the network… well, blah blah blah all my history aside, whats the authoritative aeronautics fighting game of today (if there is one)?
Hrmm,
I think this one is only for xbox, but Crimson Skies is great
OMG… Terminal Velocity… That brings back sooooo many memories. Thanks for making me even more nostalgic
That was one cool game… It was one of the few games I played on my big bro’s pc back then, with a joystick… Aah, the good old days… :sigh:
Crimson Skies came out for PC like 2 or 3 years earlier, but I hear the xbawx version is better
I liked Gunship 2000 - a really old game for Win 3.1/Win 95 where you were in command of a squad of helicopters. It was fun
Any of the modern Apache series are pretty fun also. Commanche, I think, is fun, though, not realistic hehe.
Cheers!

Yeah, But the game is really fun, eventhough if it is like 2 years old
Secret Weapons over Normandy is a good choice. Then there’s Combat Flight Simulator…
Id like something more arcade than realistic and with a poop-load of online players duking it out at once (on the PC).
I have a video about the making of Crimson Skies for the Xbox - how it was almost canned because it wasnt fun enough and whatnot. That was pretety cool - showed how the Xbox guys seemed pretty intent on making quality games… though I guess thats basically what the show was for, to promote them in that respect
Yep, it’s got less nitpicky details and more arcade-like action
