Many people cite the voyage home as their favorite Trek film, but I simply don’t see how this can be. The storyline feels bland, it doesn’t have any meaningful character development or any real social allegory.
The best Trek movie is first contact. Like the part where that lady is all like “Picard, blow up this ship”. And Picard is like “NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”, and then he breaks the glass and destroys his toy ships.
And then there’s the part where Warf pwned this Borg guy and he said “Assimilate This!” and then he shot him.
And then there’s the part where Data gets the new organic hair but then he misfires and the borg queen goes crazy and then she gets destroyed by this toxis gas while Picard is hanging on there tubes but it doesn’t affect Data so Data drags her down and then when all the toxix gas dies down Picard kills her.
And then there’s the part where Picard and the guys are fighting the Borg and a guy gets assimilated and Picard shoots him.
