Best way to backup hard drive

Ok all you pc hardware geeks :lol:

I cannot stand burning gigs of cd’s each time I want to format. Also when you make updates to files it would be silly to reburn everything.

Basically what techniques do you guys use to back up your HD’s?

My friend uses some type of tape’s. They backup like 40 gigs at a time but it takes him a few hours to fill up a tape. Also they are real expensive.

I was thinking of buying another hard drive and just updating it when I need to.

But to be honest I go through Hard Drives like Senocluar goes through contact lenses :lol: I’m too funny :lol:

So any good ideas?

Theres the one-button backup machine you can buy from tiger-direct.com that backs up I think about 180 gigs on one press :). Quick and simple. Won’t say much about the price though, you’ll have to find that yourself.
