A combination of Pong and Asteriods. Well, actually, it’s more like Breakout and Asteriods, but that didn’t work well in the title (-:. Move the paddle about and bounce the ball against the other three walls to hit all of the asteriods, etc. It’s fairly self-explanatory. Starting on level two, powerups float by and do things if you hit them. Those too are self-explanatory.
Also, by pressing ‘a’ once you’re past the intro, the computer will play the game itself. Can be quite entertaining for a couple of minutes.
Another interesting feature is the color button. It’s the striped one on the right. All of the rocks will become random colors, but beware the occasional black rock. Just uncheck the button if you think there may be a black rock floating about.
Ever see that Hummer commercial where something’s playing asteriods, and then a Hummer comes along and the ship shoots it, but all the bullets bounce off and the ship finally runs away? I thought it was an interesting commercial and decided to put a little hummer in my game. I had to do something when you hit it, so I made a weak attempt at some environmentalism and said you helped the rainforest when you hit it. After all, they (Hummers) do look neat, but get horrid MPG. :gas: :beam: :beam:
