So today is Bill Gates last day (of on the job day to day operations). I found these to be rather funny and amusing.

[ ]But this is my favorite - Letterman’s tribute to Bill Gates and Microsoft
[*]For prosperity’s sake - Bill Gates on Apple Computers

So long Bill, start spending that money man! :thumb:
PS: Have fun Ballmer - Ballmer Left With `Google Envy,’ Sinking Stock as Gates Retires
The one back during CES is definitely the best one. He better have fun and not sit in front of a computer all day.

See you at the next Bilderberger conference, Bill! Hope my bullhorn is loud enough for you to hear it. :smirk2:

People can say what they will about Microsoft, Windows and the ‘theft’ of DOS.
Bill Gates is and has always been a visionary that did incredible things for the home computer technology.
Nothing but respect for that guy from me.

Oh, no one in this thread, but a lot of people outside it.
Yeah that CES video made me like him a lot more. It’s just so nerdy. Can’t really imagine steve jobs doing something like that.
Happy retirement you rich bastard!

Microsofts’ new slogan: DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS
But seriously Gates is the man and I’m excited to see what he’ll do with his foundation.

I was very pleasantly surprised when Engadget had a huge go-away post stravaganza for Bill…
and then very disappointed when all Wired could do is pick at him…Wired lost a few points for their immaturity in that article. I mean, pick on Vista when your supposed to be saying goodbye is just…
Even though what Wired is *****ing about is true and all…IMO that’s the wrong article to ***** about him in.

Heh, even this BBC article IMO is a little dry…
I guess this is the way the world works. The more people who hate you, the more influential you are. Weird.
Oh Goody! Now He`s gna Pass it on to me ! Weee…
Of course he will
Didn’t you here? He had a contest about who could come up with the biggest abortion of the word gonna.
