So I just searched my dell service tag on dell.com and found out that there is a new update available for my bios, and i’ve got a couple questions before I do this.
do I have to format my primary hard drive and/or reinstall windows at any point during bios updating?
is there anything i will lose when updating? I know there is a risk of bricking the mobo, but since dell issued the update i’m sure it’s fine.
