Is there a autotracing program out there that will convert a bitmap object into a cad drawing of some sort?
Not really the best you can do is height map it and that wouldn’t really give that accurate of a depiction. You best bet is to remake it in Autodesk or Solidworks. Your not going to get a reasonable or usable object out it from just an image.
If your using Autocad you can go to “insert” and then to “Raster Image” to include bitmaps and image files within your cad drawings. We use this feature a lot in Autocad and Revit for taking topography maps produce by a surveyor and including that with out Site Plans.
